Louis
Normandin, Safety On The Slopes
Everyone knows that winter is the time to hit the
slopes. Skiing or snowboarding can be a blast,
but can also be very dangerous. You want
to be wearing a helmet at all times outside.
And before you go up a lift, make sure the level of the slope is ok for
you. Just because your friend’s can
doesn’t always man you can, too. Go down
the slope at a confortable speed. If you are a beginner, try slower but if you
are an expert, you can go faster. If
your friends are pros at skiing and you are not, you do not have to go the same
speed as them. Just remember, slopes are
all fun and games until someone gets hurt so stay safe.
