A Winter Poem
Drip drop says the rain bouncing
off the windows.
Windshield-wipers flash in front
of you.
SPLASH!
Water is all around.
It must have been a puddle.
You drive carefully up your
driveway and make a dash for the door.
You step into your warm and
toasty house, home again once more.
You take a seat by the blazing
fire and sip you hot chocolate.
It’s beginning to get darker and
darker outside and soon another winter day has gone by.
